My name's Tony, but everyone calls me tk.
A career in the Television Industry spanning almost 2 decades, primarily in Post Production, has enabled me to develop an understanding of both the creative process and business side of the industry.
From starting my career making tea at a London Post House to being a Lead Creative on some of Australia’s premier subscription TV channels I’ve worked across many aspects of the broadcast Industry, from VFX to Technical Support, branding to editing and directing.
With a real love for the creative process of editing I can work on Avid, Final Cut, Premiere and After Effects.
I am currently freelance and available to work in Melbourne or Sydney.
In my spare time I host and produce a soccer podcast and DJ and produce music.

In September 2018 moved from Sydney to Melbourne to work freelance at various companies including Fox Footy, Channel 10, Tennis Australia and others.
Roles included live sport OB , Live TV, Game Shows, News and documentaries.
FOXTEL
LEAD CREATIVE – ENTERTAINMENT CHANNELS
• Promoted from promo producer at The Comedy Channel to Lead Creative
overseeing a number of Foxtel’s premiere channels and the teams that work on
them, primarily within the comedy and drama sphere.
• Oversaw launch of 2 brand new channels Boxsets and Binge, with both channels
launching successfully on time and on budget.
• Directed, produced and edited a number of award winning promos for Showcase
and Comedy Channels.
• Oversee channel branding across all platforms.

POST PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR / PROMO PRODUCER
• Employed in newly created role of Post Production Supervisor
• Supervised technical and creative aspects of a number of award winning projects.
• Oversaw technical side of company move from North Sydney to Fox Studios.
• Edited a number of promo campaigns and sales reels for a selection of Australian
networks (Channel 9 / SBS / World Movies / The Comedy Channel among others).
MARCH 2006 – APRIL 2007:

JUNIOR EDITOR / COMPOSITER
• Helped set up the award winning VFX and compositing department of brand new
state of the art facility.
• Trained members of staff in the (at the time) new HD Technology and workflow.
• Worked on a number of promos and title sequences on Smoke and Flame.
• Nominated as most valuable member of staff by colleagues, Envy winner of Post
Facility for that year (and a number of years after!).

I started off at TSI Video (Broadcast Post Facility of the Year 2000) as a runner before moving to despatch, then VT , Edit Assistant and finally as junior editor and compositor.
Skills included: Dubbing, Quality Control, Encoding, Digitizing, Conforming, Unity management with full knowledge of Avid and Avid Symphony NT (Vers.10+11) ,
Basic knowledge of Discreet Fire and Smoke systems (archiving, restoring, basic rotoscope, grading and painting).
